As vice president of the Internal Medicine and Dermatology business units for IQVIA Biotech, Raymond focuses heavily on providing medical, clinical and strategic guidance to sponsors for clinical trial programs specific to internal medicine and dermatology.
With IQVIA Biotech, Raymond has extensive experience in all phases of global drug development and clinical trial management, including study protocol development. He is hands-on in guiding various clinical reports and milestone filings with regulatory agencies (e.g., clinical study reports, investigational new drug applications, investigational device exemptions and new drug applications).
Participating in various steering and clinical endpoints committees in the U.S., Raymond provides expert recommendations regarding critical clinical research aspects, including safety, efficacy, study conduct and more.
Additionally, working more than two decades in clinical practice and academia, Raymond keeps the patient perspective top of mind in his work at IQVIA Biotech.
Raymond earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he also worked as an assistant professor for the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Living in North Carolina, Raymond enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He also enjoys being a youth group leader, and when he can find the time, playing a round of golf.
