SearchEmily Reed is senior director of Investigator Site Services and Regulatory Affairs at IQVIA Biotech. She has more than 18 years of clinical research experience supporting biotech customers. She is driven by the desire to ensure access to clinical trials is granted to patients, with urgency, to support enhanced quality of life. Emily is fervent about why fast start-up is important, ultimately for the patients and to increase efficiency, quality, and to reduce costs of clinical trial execution.
With experience extending beyond study start-up, Emily has a deep understanding of clinical trial operations. Her experience includes onsite monitoring and clinical team management in diverse therapeutic areas.
Passionate about quality and consistent operational improvement, Emily is formally trained in change management. She was recognized by Pharma Times as “Clinical Researcher of the Year Finalist” in 2012, and in 2015, received “Clinical Researcher of the Year” in Project Management.
Emily earned a Health Science bachelor’s degree from Ohio University, with a focus on epidemiology.
Emily resides outside of Cleveland, Ohio, and is married with two children. In her free time, she devotes time to raising children’s food allergy awareness and education in her local schools.
